What we set, and why

No hidden trackers, no data resale. A few cookies to keep the site running and understand how you browse it — here's which ones, for how long, and how to stay in control.

What a cookie is

A cookie is a small file the site stores in your browser. It lets us remember something from one page to the next — your language, for instance — or measure, in aggregate, how the site is used.

We distinguish strictly necessary cookies (essential to the site working, set without consent) from audience-measurement cookies (only set if you accept them).

The cookies we use

The list is short, and we keep it that way.

Your consent, off by default

When you arrive, audience measurement is off. We use Google's “Consent Mode v2”: everything stays on “denied” until you choose. No measurement cookie is set before you agree.

If you accept, Google Analytics 4 turns on and sets its cookies. If you decline, nothing is set for measurement — only the strictly necessary cookies remain.

Taking back control

Your choice is kept for 180 days. To change it, delete the “atelicode_consent” cookie in your browser settings: the banner will reappear on your next visit and you can decide again.

You can also block or clear cookies directly from your browser — Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge all offer this in their privacy settings.

The third party involved

Audience measurement relies on Google Analytics 4, loaded through Google Tag Manager. Google acts as a processor and data is handled in aggregate. On our side, no data is sold or used for advertising.
